How We Work

The interior design process can be so time – consuming, costly and exhausting, hence we have the design process in place that assists both parties to have a clear understanding of what needs to be done and agree on it before we start with any project. Every project is unique but we try and follow the same process.

Phone conversation or online correspondence

We introduce each other on the phone, get to understand the reason for your call. We will send you a questionnaire to complete and send it back to us. The questionnaire is to give us a short background about you or your organization. After receiving the questionnaire, we then set up an appointment to come to your house or organization.

Design Consultation

This is the initial phase of the project where we meet with you in person after our phone conversation or online correspondence, we get more information about your needs, and desires or your design ambition and goals. We explain our design process, we then take measurements and obtain photos of the space.

Letter of agreement

Once you decide to proceed with the design process and concept, we will draft a letter of agreement. This documents outlines the scope of the project. This can be a complete home remodeling or selection of accessories.

Concept Design and Presentation

This is where we generate ideas and Brainstorming Solutions, Preliminary space planning, Furniture and finish selections. The colour scheme and overall design concept is created. We develop the concept into a full-fledged set of designs. Once everything is approved, we send all the files to you. Our aim is that you love the design, hence we give you time to make some changes where necessary

Quotations and Purchasing

With a clear and finalized design concept, we are now ready for implementation. We will create all the purchasing orders, Negotiate with the vendors and make sure that you get the best prices possible.

Delivery and Installation

Deliveries are received at your site and installed in phases, or in the final step of the project. In the full service design model, we will oversee the delivery and installation process. We will be onsite to ensure that the design vision comes together smoothly. If there is any structural changes that needs to be done, e.g. painting the walls, installing the lights, curtains and blinds installations, we make sure that’s done before the delivery of the furniture and accessories.
